On the 27th of November 2014, the Practice went live with GP2GP.

GP2GP is a new method of transferring patient records when registering at a new GP practice.

At the point of registration the new GP practice sends a request to the old one for the patient's electronic record. This is then sent in a matter of minutes.

What does this mean to you?

  • Seamless and continued treatment
  • No need to recount your medical history to your new doctor
  • We will have vital information such as allergies and medication immediately
  • You will receive the best possible care.

Please note, although we receive information regarding your current medication, new patients are still required to book an appointment with a doctor to review your prescriptions before requesting a new one.
