Access the online appointment system

If you're registered to book appointments online click here to book an appointment.

Appointments can be made at the desk or by telephone. Although you may prefer to see your usual doctor, this is a group practice and appointments can be made with any of the doctors. If you think you need a longer consultation e.g. for a detailed discussion or examination, please tell the staff when making the appointment. Urgent cases will be fitted in at the end of surgery - please phone before 10:00 am if possible.

If at any time you would like a chaperone we are happy to provide this. Alternatively you are welcome to bring someone with you for your consultation. It is the patients’ responsibility to cancel any appointment they are unable to keep. Persistent non-attenders may be asked to find another practice.

Access to Consultations

Patients will be able to consult with a doctor face to face or by telephone and consult with a nurse face to face or by telephone within 1 working day following the day of request.  Patients can book routine appointments several weeks ahead.

Emergency Appointments

These are intended for serious medical problems, which cannot wait until the next available routine appointment. Please do not use them for routine checks, repeat prescriptions or medical certificates. You will have been given a shorter appointment to deal with the URGENT PROBLEM ONLY. You will be given an arrival time and will have to wait your turn in the emergency session. If there are any other matters you want to discuss, the doctor may suggest you make a routine appointment.

Telephone Advice

If you need urgent telephone advice only please contact the Surgery and the care navigator will place you on the urgent triage list for the duty doctor team to contact you later that day.
