Home Visits

Home visits are generally for the housebound or those medically unfit to travel to surgery. We would normally expect ill children to be brought to the Surgery. Telephone the Surgery before 10:00am whenever possible and give the receptionist as much information you can to enable the doctors to prioritise their visits.

The Doctor may phone you to discuss if a visit is necessary Please bear in mind that we are able to see four patients in the Surgery in the time it takes to make one visit and we have better facilities on the premises.

Please note that transport difficulties is not a legitimate reason for a home visit.
