Shingles Vaccination

We now have new stocks of the Shingles vaccine at the practice. The vaccine is available on the NHS to certain people in their 70s. Patients only require the vaccine once in their life, unlike the annual flu vaccine. It's fine to have the shingles vaccine if you have already had shingles; it works very well and will help to boost your immunity.

Shingles vaccination for adults aged 70, 78 or 79 years of age

People aged 70,78 and 79 on 1st September 2016 are eligible for a Shingles vaccination.
